1 AWF Board member position is coming up for re-election at the upcoming AWF AGM.
The QWA Management Committee are seeking expressions of interest from current members who are interested in contributing to the development and governance of the sport at the National level. Of note the Australian Sports Commission Sport Governance Standards and terms of recognition require National Sporting Organisations to achieve and maintain a gender balance on their Boards. In the instance of the 2026 AGM this relates to filling the elected position with a female or gender diverse individual.
Interested persons are asked to email the QWA office at qwa@qwa.org by Sunday 8th November with a current CV to be considered for endorsement by the QWA Management Committee for nomination to a position on the AWF Board at the upcoming AWF AGM to be held in Brisbane on the 25th November 2026 (time and location to be advised).
