Nominations have now closed for positions on the Management Committee. With only the one nomination each for the positions of President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer those nominated will automatically be appointed.
With the 3 remaining Ordinary Member positions receiving multiple nominations these will go to the vote for appointment at the AGM. Those nominated for Ordinary member positions will be asked to supply a CV and information about what they see as their skills that could be useful to the organisation to be distributed to voting members (QWA Affiliated Clubs) prior to the meeting.
Of further consideration is our commitment to ensuring gender parity on the MC noting that our current memberships for 2026 show female membership at 54.8% and males at 45.2%.
