The Queensland Weightlifting Association (QWA) is seeking expressions of interest from members and supporters to join the event support team for the upcoming Australian Weightlifting Federation (AWF) Junior & Senior Championships.

Location: Hawthorn, Melbourne
Event Dates: Thursday 13th- Sunday 16th November, 2025
EOI Closing Date: Wednesday 15th October, 2025

This national event will bring together the country’s top lifters to compete for championship titles, and we need your help to make it a success.

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist in a range of roles, including:

• Team Leader
• Head Coach
• Staff Coach
• Personal Coach

Volunteering at a national championship is a fantastic way to contribute to the sport, gain experience behind the scenes, and be part of an exciting weekend of lifting.

Your involvement helps ensure the smooth running of the event and ensures a quality competition experience for our large team of lifters.
