How and Why Did You Start Weightlifting?
I started weightlifting at St Laurence's College. The weightlifting club had
just started up at school and my mate and I went down to see what
weightlifting was and decided to give it a go. After training for about 6
months I then moved my training over to Cougars under the watchful eyes of
Miles Wydall and have been there ever since.
Best Moment In The Sport?
Winning the gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. It was a fantastic feeling to win the gold medal, something I had always wanted to achieve. Having my mum and dad there to witness me win and my coach Miles coaching me to the gold made it even more special.
