EOI QWA Management Committee (MC) Positions – 2 available

The QWA is looking for motivated, skilled persons to work with the current QWA MC of: President Miles Wydall; Vice-President Greg Hobl; Secretary Tara Noonan; Treasurer Callum Hannay; Ordinary members – Leanne Knox & Angela Wydall, and Acting General Manager Debra Keelan, in the key areas of:

  • Sponsorship Development and Management;
  • Volunteer Development and Management;
  • Officiating Development and Management.

 

Position requirements:

Demonstrated commitment to the sport of weightlifting. With knowledge and previous experience in the activities of the QWA preferred eg: event management and delivery.

Attendance at Management Committee meetings, a minimum of 3 of these being face to face each year

Prompt response to emails from MC and QWA General Manager

Time commitment of 2hrs per week

Term of appointment will conclude at the 2018 QWA AGM. Likely date of meeting being May/June.

Experience of working in a team environment.

No stipend is currently paid to MC members.

Position function:

Conduit between the QWA members and the MC

Lead projects in the key areas – including building of motivated groups that will enhance the capabilities of the organisation to progress and grow.
