How and Why Did You Start Weightlifting?
My coach was a family friend and he introduced me to the sport some years ago, basically he spotted a potential Weightlifter and here I am today.

Best Moment In The Sport?
2006 Commonwealth Games - Nothing Compares

Worst Moment In The Sport?
Mid 2005.  I consistently caught anything going around and it set me back about 6 months worth of training.

Person You Most Admire in Weightlifting?
There isn't just one person, there are many, but the main ones are:

My Coach, Miles Wydall, for all his hard effort and constant encouragement.
Memet Yagci, For his inspiration as a lifter in my younger years.
Ben Turner, For showing me what a Sportsman truly is.
Sevi Marinov, his insight and experience in Weightlifting has been a big help.

Favourite Exercise?

Power Snatch - You can't get anything easier than that!  Can you?

Least Favourite Exercise?
Clean and Jerks - All I'll say is - Ouch... Very Ouch.

Favourite Venue To Compete?
I guess I'm a show pony these days... so anything BIG and bright... the Glory factor... but Ill always enjoy competing at the Cougars Gym.

How many hours do you train per week?
Approximately 6-8ish hours... as always

Brothers/Sisters, How Many?
2 Brothers, Jon the wise (22); and Paul the young (16)

Single/Married?
Single - Amazingly...

Favourite Music?
Put it this way... it's very defined... but if you like it I'd be your best friend.

Favourite Movie?
Go Horror movies!  But I must say of all time... The Crow... was then, still is the best movie ever.

Favourite Food?
I can't honestly say... but as I'm aging ever so fast I've moved onto a healthier lot of foods... strange...

Favourite Book?
I'm reading a lot more now, don't know if that means I've got too much spare time or I need a better hobby, but for a favourite book?  No Idea.

What Do You Do When Not Training To Relax/Favourite Pastime?
Play music, Listen to music, read books, look into personal interests, drive, socialize... just an ordinary person leading an ordinary life outside of sport.

Why
I guess I'm at that stage of life... the transition... scary!
