How and Why Did You Start Weightlifting?
I began weight training as a Powerlifter in my final years of high school in
Dimbulah, Far North Queensland. After a year in Powerlifting I moved to
Brisbane and decided to try my hand at Olympic lifting. I joined the UQ
Powerlifting/Weightlifting club, and was later referred to Peter Thomsen at
Nudgee College, and so the journey began.
